As a proud product of Jackson, Mississippi, and a graduate of The University of Mississippi—lovingly referred to as "Ole Miss"—where I pursued both my undergraduate studies and nursing school, my professional journey in healthcare has spanned over fifteen years. However, amidst the challenges and triumphs of my career, my heart has always been drawn to the art of storytelling.

Following a profound personal experience during the unprecedented times of a global pandemic, I found myself compelled to rekindle my lifelong passion for writing. This awakening led me to recognize a deep-seated longing to reconnect with my roots as a creative and authentic Southern storyteller.

In the midst of nurturing my family and embracing the joys of motherhood in Nashville, Tennessee, I am immensely grateful to have rediscovered my creative spark through writing, alongside embracing the inherent beauty of the South. I extend a heartfelt invitation for you to accompany me on this journey—a journey filled with the charm and allure of the South, illuminated by the pages of my upcoming novels, "The Carter Charm," “Sister Bayou”, and the humorous tales of my "Sunday Short Stories." More buzz to come…
